Wald am Arlberg shows its best side in summer. Deep green forests, blooming mountain meadows, crystal-clear lakes, and the glow of the sun on the mountains. The peaks and ridges of the mountains cause the sun to glow once it’s completed its day’s journey, at least that’s how it looks from a distance. In our village, you can watch farmers bundling hay.

You can start your day of hiking at our breakfast table. Our mountain world has the right trails for all abilities, from an easy walk to a climbing tour for professionals. And what many guests come to appreciate: you can sleep with the windows open. It’s pleasantly cool and guaranteed mosquito-free.

We are happy to put together a program for our guests, tailored to the individual wishes of the group. A couple of examples:

• Hut hikes (with overnight accommodation in the mountains)
• Adventure hikes in the Radona Gorge
• Tours of the former silver mine at the Kristberg
• Visit to the Klostertal Museum with guided tours and talks with local eyewitnesses.
